Lindsey has worked professionally in the wedding industry since 1996.  She started as a wedding photographer's assistant/assistant to the couple and later became a certified professional master photographer, specializing in photojournalistic wedding coverage. She excelled in capturing forever, the often overlooked details and fleeting moments of a wedding day. Her joy has always been in helping a couple's day to go smoothly, in helping them create lasting memories, and sharing in the divine happiness of that special day.

    

     After planning her own wedding, she started to notice that there weren't many budget conscious venues for couples in her geographic area. And some venues, which appeared to be budget friendly at first glance, often had large catering/bar minimums or many "hidden" expenses that added up quickly. The options that did exist were usually affiliated with a specific religious denomination or were outdoor locations, which always come with the uncertainty of the weather. Lindsey had attended several weddings of friends and family members who were married at the courthouse due to the lack of other options. She thought that there had to be a beautiful place where couples could get married without being burdened by uncertainty or major financial stress... a place that they could get excited about and be proud to share with friends and family... a place that they could look back on, through photographs, with only fond and happy memories. She decided that if this place did not already exist, she would create it and that is how Glenwood Manor Weddings and Events was born.
